My Lord Duke,

Referring to my despatch No.154 of the 4th May, 1923, I have the honour to inform Your Grace that as reported in my telegram of the 30th August the Executive Council has recommended that Miss Barrow should receive a charitable pension of £53. 28. 6d. which together with her existing pension will give her £100 per annum.

In anticipation of your approval provision will be made accordingly in the Estimates for 1924.
